Additionally, there has been an expansion and improvement in the Visa on Arrival (VOA) Thailand 2024 services. The Ministry of Interior has announced an updated list of countries and territories eligible to apply for a visa upon arrival at immigration checkpoints. The number has now increased to 31 countries from the previous 19 countries. This change is designed to accommodate the growing number of tourists and to streamline the process of entering Thailand. Tourists can apply for the Visa on Arrival at international airports across the country, including major airports such as Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok Don Mueang Airport, as well as airports in Phuket (Phuket entry requirements) and Samui (Samui travel regulations). This policy aims to reduce the complexity of paperwork and make entering Thailand quicker and more convenient.
